Marratxí will be part of the route of the upcoming Challenge Mallorca Femenina, to be held from January 24 to 26, 2026, and will host the start of the first stage of the cycling race on Saturday the 24th. The agreement was formalized this week at the Marratxí Town Hall between Mayor Jaume Llompart, Councilor for Sports Juan Antonio Estarellas, and the CEO of Unisport Consulting, Manuel Hernández, the company organizing the event.
As in the previous edition, the Plaça de l’Ajuntament in Sa Cabaneta will become kilometer zero of the third edition of the Challenge Mallorca Femenina, which will once again bring together the best cyclists in the international peloton.
The mayor expressed his satisfaction at once again hosting top-level cycling in his municipality: “We are very happy to once again have the best cyclists in the world, who will depart from Plaça de l’Ajuntament to kick off a new season. Last year was a resounding success, with a large crowd in attendance, and I take this opportunity to invite everyone to come and enjoy this spectacle again on Saturday, January 24,” stated Llompart.
The CEO of Unisport Consulting, Manuel Hernández, thanked the Marratxí Town Council for its support, “a municipality that always supports sports and where last year everything was made easy for holding the race, so this year we are once again hosting the start of the first stage.”
The Challenge Mallorca Femenina will celebrate its third edition in 2026, solidifying its position as one of the most prominent cycling events on the European calendar at the start of the season.
