A total of nineteen teams will make up the peloton of the II Garden Hotels-Luxcom Challenge Ciclista Mallorca Femenina, which will be held between 25 and 27 January. Among the teams that will make up the group of this second edition of the professional women’s event, there are six teams from the World Tours Teams category, the highest category of the Professional Cycling Union (UCI). These are Movistar Team, UnoXMobility, Human Powered Health, Canyon/SRAM Racing, UAE Team ADQ and Ceratizit-WNT Pocycling Team.
These top teams on the women’s cycling scene will be joined by another twelve from the Continental category, such as the American Education First-OATLY, the Italians Aromitalia or Fassa Bartolo, or the Spanish, Eneicat, Laboral Kutxa or the French Cofidis, among others. In total, teams from up to nine different countries will meet in the race.
The Spanish Road Team, led by Mallorcan Mavi García, will complete the peloton of this second edition of the race, which will be contested in three trophies: Marratxí Trophy (Saturday 25 January); Palma-Castell de Bellver Trophy (Sunday 26 January) and Binissalem-Port d’Andratx Trophy (Monday 27 January).
