Felanitx will be the stage for the start of the women’s cycling season in Europe. The 2026 Challenge Vuelta Mallorca Femenina confirms that the first stage, to be held on Saturday, January 24, will finish with the iconic climb to Puig de Sant Salvador, one of the most renowned cycling landmarks on the island.
The opening stage will start in Marratxí and cover 129 kilometers before tackling the final ascent to Sant Salvador, a summit finish that guarantees a top-level sporting spectacle and will officially kick off the European women’s cycling calendar.
The agreement to host this stage finish was signed by Toni Peña, Councilor for Sports of the Felanitx Town Hall, and the CEO of Unisport Consulting, Manolo Hernández, who expressed his gratitude for “the support of a municipality with a rich cycling tradition” and emphasized that “the climb to Sant Salvador will offer a vibrant and highly attractive stage for both the riders and the spectators.”
The 2026 Challenge Mallorca Femenina will be held over three stages, from January 24 to 26, solidifying its position as a must-do event that brings together top-level international teams and cyclists, making Mallorca the epicenter of women’s cycling worldwide during those days.
