The Canadian Magdeleine Vallieres Mill (ED Education-Canondale) has won alone in the Castell de Bellver, where the finish line of the Palma Trophy was located, the second round of the first Garden Hotels Luscom-Challenge Ciclista Mallorca. The Canadian runner crossed the finish line with a time of 3h46’17”, 16 seconds ahead of the South African Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio (AG Insurance) and the Spanish Mavi García (Spanish National Team), who completed the podium of the race.
Vallieres Mill attacked on the descent of the penultimate mountain pass among the strongest of the day and managed to maintain a distance of 15 seconds with its pursuers, despite the attempts of the local Mavi García, who knows the terrain, and Moolman-Pasio to reduce differences.
