The Trofeu Marratxí–Felanitx, the first race of the III Garden Hotels & Resorts Challenge Mallorca Femenina, concluded this Saturday with a victory for French rider Maeva Squiban (UAE Team ADQ), who triumphed on the demanding finish line at Puig de Sant Salvador in a time of 3h12’33’’. Squiban overtook Swiss rider Marlen Reusser (Movistar Team), who finished second, on the final climb, while Italian Silvia Persico (UAE Team ADQ) took third place.

The stage, marked by gusty winds, began in Marratxí with 114 riders and a 128.8-kilometer route to Felanitx. From the outset, attacks were launched from the peloton, but UAE Team ADQ maintained their dominance, controlling the race and keeping breakaway attempts under control.

The decisive selection began around kilometer 50, with a leading group of about 30 riders, and was decided in the final five kilometers of the climb to Puig de Sant Salvador, where the Emirati team placed three riders in the top five, culminating in Maeva Squiban’s victory.
